Bonnie Ueckert shows her Texas Book Festival Grant.

Bonnie Ueckert, Children’s Librarian is all smiles after receiving the news that the Bastrop Public Library received a Texas Book Festival Grant.  The award will be used to purchase new books for the children’s nonfiction collection.

Attention Readers of the Bastrop Advertiser:
The Bastrop Library is looking for specific back issues of the Bastrop Advertiser from 2006 to complete our microfilm archive of the newspaper. Please contact the library if you have any of these copies to donate:

Sept. 23 and 28, 2006
Nov. 18, 23, 25, and 30, 2006
Dec. 2 and 7, 2006
