The Bastrop Public Library has materials available for genealogical research.  These materials include family histories, local cemetery records, local history resources, microfilm, and other resources.  All genealogy materials are for library use only.  The library currently has limited volunteer assistance for genealogy research and can only conduct limited research.  Please direct all genealogy and local history inquiries to:  genealogy@bastroplibrary.org.

If our volunteer researcher can find the information you requested, we must have an address to which to mail it.  Please allow at least two weeks for a response.  Our researcher will contact you by email when materials have been found and mailed.
