Our community's growth is dramatically increasing our circulation and need for more services. The library's maximum legal occupant capacity for special events and children's programs is close to being exceeded on a regular basis. Including books, computers and people, our small library building is over crowded and bursting at the seams!
The majority of donations of labor, books, or money made to the Friends go directly to support the growing building expansion fund for a new children's area, conference room, meeting room, quiet study rooms, local history room, and additional parking. This means more room for library cultural programs, kids programs, community meetings and of course, more books, videos and audios! It should be easier to find a quiet place to sit, as well as to park your car!
