Must be 14 years or older to volunteer.

Computer Class: Basic Computer Class

This class will be offered twice a week and will cover: Using a computer, Internet basics, Email and Microsoft Word
Tuesday Evenings
6:30 - 8:00 pm
or
Thursday Mornings
10:30 - 12:00 noon

Class are free. Registration required!

Friends of the Bastrop Public Library

Mission of the Friends Our Vision: To promote and enlist support for the Bastrop Public Library		What Do the Friends Do? We work hard to insure the future growth of the library in our community through:
to develop additional resources and funds for our library		Annual book drives and book sales
to serve as advocate and voice for our library		Fundraising events
to promote cultural, educational and informational exchange		Volunteer work in the library
to heighten public awareness of our library		Management of gifts, donations and endowments
		Provision of programs for patrons and the community

Friends' Book Nook : Used Book Store

Shop our lobby Used Book Store during regular library hours and save on a variety of used books, audiobooks, videos, and other surprise goodies.

Proceeds from these sales go directly to the Friends of the Bastrop Public Library.

Would you like to meet interesting people and gain experience working around the library atmosphere? Help the Friends :

To show your support for our community's outstanding library	To insure access to much needed learning resources for all the children in our community
For the satisfaction of knowing your membership is helping support a significant literacy and communications resource, right here at home	To insure that the financial resources are available to continue the library's growth

The Friends of the Bastrop Public Library are always looking for more cheerful book lovers to help our reading community as it grows.
